About Me
Hi there! My name is Emily and I have been an avid artist since I was just a little sprout. Throughout my life, I have dabbled in a myriad of artistic mediums. I suppose a lot of my interests come from my Yiayia Nancy, who always support my love and interest in creating art. She bought me some of my first sketchbooks and art supplies, such as colored pencils, oil pastels, and graphite. Growing up, my sister and I would often stay with her and my Papou Hermes over the weekends. During these babysitting trips, Yiayia Nancy would always make it a point to bring us with her to the local visual arts center where she taught us how to work with clay (I hated the texture, but I never told her). From there, I went to summer camps at the arts center where I experimented with stained glass, film photography, and sewing. Further more, I participated art classes throughout middle and high school, and even had a senior exhibition show alongside a fellow classmate.
Over the years, I have inadvertently stepped away from art as I focused on other interests, such as triathlon. However, despite this, I have continued to draw and doodle, exploring my love of anatomy and tattoo styles. I have loved studying these two elements and trying to bring them together. I hope you like my doodles as much as I do!
